On Saturday, November 12^th, the Sigma Nu fraternity will be holding our first annual Sigma Smash car smash charity event. The event will take place from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, before the CU game against Arizona. All proceeds for Sigma Smash will go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation (Livestrong). 

Two out of commission cars will be stationed in the back parking lots of the Sigma Nu Main house (1043 Pleasant Street; 11^th and Pleasant Street). Admission for two swings is $5. There is no limit to the amount of swings a participant may purchase. We also encourage your house to personally donate to the event via a link through Livestrong’s website at http://grassroots2011.livestrong.org/sigmasmash. For every five dollars a house donates to the website, a member of that house may be exempt from the initial fee for taking a hit. We encourage your fraternity/sorority to donate straight to the website in order to minimize waiting time in the line during the event. To register your house, just click “Join Our Team” and enter the information for your donation. 
Waivers must be filled out before a participant may take a swing. We encourage all members of your chapter to participate!  However, members who are not taking part are still able to hangout at the event where food and refreshments will be served.
